The Xbox 360 Elite which had a price tag of $399 is now only $299. The Xbox 360 PRO was slashed $50 and now sells for $249.
Microsoft offers the Xbox 360 Elite with a 120GB hard drive.
Some people think that Microsoft decided to drop the unit price, because competitors have done similar with the Playstation 3. However high ranking officials, say this was not the case, and that they have been planning it for months.
Whatever the case, I’m sure consumers are glad for the savings being passed down.
