Do you want to get more Twitter followers? Of course you do. It is an ego thing. The more twitter followers you have, the more important you look. Having the most twitter followers is also good for brands and business who are looking to increase their social awareness.

The first thing you must understand is that, if you are not a celebrity, you will probably never have 1 million twitter followers.

Think about it, if they are following someone who’s tweets are most likely nothing but spam, they will follow anyone. With this method it is easy to find twitter followers.

So your first step to more twitter followers is to follow that spammer. The second method to more followers is to find a twitter user that doesn’t have a profile picture, and follow their followers. Once again, if a person will follow someone they cannot see, it is a high probability that they will follow you too.

Another method you can use to get more twitter followers is to use other social networks like, Myspace and Facebook. Send bulletins out to your friend lists telling them to follow you on twitter as well. You would be surprised how many twitter followers you can gain by using these methods. By now everyone has heard of twitter unless they live under a rock, and chances are, if they have a myspace or facebook, then they have a twitter. Take advantage of this. I see many people paying $150 to have their name advertised on websites so they can get more followers on twitter, and by the end of their few days listed in the prominent position, their follower count is still less than mine.
