Brockport Shooting shakes small town of Suny

A suspected gunman is now in custody for the Brockport Shooting incident, that left one woman injured, sources say. That woman was a Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputy.

The injury appears to be non-life threatening. The actual shooting occurred at approximately 1:20 p.m., just west of SUNY Brockport College and the Brockport Central School campus.

The Brockport shooting has left the middle school getting out a little later than usual 4 p.m., and the local elementary will release students at 4:45 p.m. Parents are being discouraged from rushing directly at this time, due to the increase traffic.
